New updates!
Okay, so... yeah, it's been a awhile. I may not have this whole 'regular schedule' thing quite down yet. In addition, things have been strange at work over the last month or so, and sometimes all I really want to do is fight zombies (or feral ghouls, or draugar, or splicers) instead of crafting. That's me, always falling in and out of hobbies!
It's not like I haven't been crafting at all, but it has been more haphazard lately. I've worked on the K blanket and the Crochet-Along blanket, but there's not enough impressive progress to make them worth pictures.
I also lost a day to experiments on what I hoped would be a Neopolitan Ice Cream Swirl kind of blanket, but which just kept folding in on itself in a sad sort of way. There may still be a chance to make that one work somehow, though, with a little more thought and trial. :-)
What I do have to show is this:
Sophie's Universe was coming along slowly before I put it away a couple of weeks ago. I'll probably rotate it back in to my "currently-working-on" pile for this week. I just love the possibilities for use of bright color in the pattern!
A new scarf/wrap pattern from Red Heart that I wanted to try out - Open Wave Shawl. This is some yarn I got for Christmas that I've been hanging on to until I found just the right use. I'm a little more than half-way through the first skein, and I expect this will take 5 or 6 before it's the length I want. In the meantime, though, it's an easy and open pattern that moves very quickly, and I'm having a lot of fun with it.
Early last year, I made myself an elbow rest for my computer desk, to sit below the keyboard and just be a nice cushion. It's gotten a bit dingy and quite a lot squashed since then, but is very useful. My DH asked for one too, so I'll be working on that also; he picked a nice, thick chunky yarn, and it'll be stuffed with polyfill to be comfy. This is just another made-up-as-you-go kind of thing. :-)

Lastly, I binge-watched season 1 of Project Runway last weekend so I could sit and cross stitch. I feel like good things happened! It didn't wind up with a lot of dimensional expansion, but I did get a lot of little spots filled in, so I'm happy with the progress.
