Granny Square blanket
I started this blanket right after Christmas, and it's really been all I've wanted to work on. I did pick up cross stitch for a couple of hours yesterday, but didn't have much fun for some reason and went right back to my blanket.
The light isn't as good in the living room so the colors are a bit off, but I was very happy to get a pattern down for connecting each block.
The join technique is a slightly amended version of one I learned last year from one of the Crochet Crowd's mystery CAL blankets, where you stitch loops and pull them through each other instead of sewing all the edges together.
I'm really loving my blanket and am quite pleased with the way it's coming along! I think there'll be another two rows (making it 5 squares by 6) and then a border, but I may change my mind about how big I want it.
