Mandala art
At the end of December, I moved out of my cube and into my first ever office at work. This, of course, deserved some celebratory, colorful, crafty awesomeness to decorate the walls!
The largest is the Mandala Madness pattern, rounds 1-32.. Most of the others came from the book Mandalas to Crochet, by Haafner Linssen; the rest I improvised. It took from about mid-January to about mid-March to finish them all.
If the colors look familiar, there's a reason: the blues, greens and purples are the same I Love This Cotton that I used for the Granny Square Blanket last year. And along with the addition of the three shades of brown, it's the same color scheme I'm also using for Sophie's Universe.
There's not a whole lot else to say except that I loved making them, I get super happy every morning when I see them hanging on the wall, and I'm switching to cross stitch now for a little while. :-P Here are more pictures with closer-up views!
