Mystery CAL - 6th clue progress
Week 6: putting pieces together!
This part has a really neat trick to it - a loopy border on each square that interlaces with the joining square in a sort of twisting pattern. Each border is done in one of the accenting colors, so the twist shows up very nicely. Here's a closer look:
The four squares across measure at 29", so the size of the twenty squares together should work out to 29 x 36ish. This is when I'm starting to regret that it's a mystery pattern; I don't know how big the finished product will be with a border (I'm guessing there's a border since I have an awful lot of yarn left!) and by the time I find out, it'll be too late to add more squares and make the whole thing larger if I need to.
Anyway, I'm very happy to be joining the squares together finally! This step is going quite smoothly, and is actually pretty relaxing!

You could always wait to add the border until you find out what size it finishes at. Or send an email to the host and ask for finished size, I'm sure they would be willing to help out.
