Small things update
I realized this weekend that everything I've been working on lately is a large and long-term project - there are four blankets I'm actively working on, and three more on hiatus. I really felt like I needed the satisfaction of a finish, even a small one.
So Saturday, I made a tiny bag for my D & D dice. No real pattern; just a flat round to start with, and a lattice-work design that I'm sure someone before me has already made up and written down somewhere, but I can honestly say I also thought of it myself.
I may make a few more of these in various sizes - after all, what kind of RPer has only one set of dice?
Today's project was a fairly simple dishcloth that I found on Petals to Picots and decided to try out. I messed up somewhere along the line, because it won't lay flat, but I think I have enough of the yarn left to make another one if I want to. (Go and look at it, hers is much tidier than mine!)
Progress on the K blanket, and Sophie's Universe, was hindered by the loss of my size I hook this week.... When I finally lamented to my husband that I couldn't work on anything I had planned, he knew immediately where the hook was. Go figure. I do appreciate him putting up with my scatterbrain!
I did get a good bit done on the quilt block sampler (size H hook, so not affected by the aforementioned minor disaster) and I'm really very, very proud of it:
We're quickly reaching the point where I'll have to start laying this one on the floor to take a picture. I think this is about as large as I can photograph practically on my table, at about 22" across.

The quilt block afghan is coming along fantastically and I really think you should post a tutorial on your crochet dice bag.
