Mystery Crochet Along - 3rd clue progress!

So the third clue came out yesterday afternoon, and is actually two separate borders added in different colors.  The more that gets added onto these base granny squares, the more I like how the pattern is going!

I've finished all 20 with the blue border, and about 7 with the grey so far.  Only a couple have the ends sewn in, and I'll probably do the rest of that all at the end.

In other news, I've got a plain black canvas bag that I'm trying to decide what to do with.  I'm thinking a Left 4 Dead themed cross-stitch on the sides, one side with the L4D cast and the other with the L4D2 cast.  Or maybe the other side with some of the zombies instead?  That would be pretty cool, but I haven't decided yet.

I found a website that lets you upload pictures to make cross-stitch patterns (My Photo Stitch) and tried it out with some basic images, and here's how the images came out:

I'm pretty happy with that.  The patterns came out at around 80 stitches wide, by 150-180 stitches high.  This'll be another of those back-burner, someday projects.
